Choose first Primary color being black, secondary being red.
Effects/Render/Clouds (Image 1-1)
Next, Effects/Noise/Grain. Say about 150 for Amount. (Image 1-2)
Now, to finish off our iris with Effects/Blur/Zoom Blur. Zoom Amount 50, rest is fine to give it a nice zoom effect. (Image 1-3)
Basically, from here this layer we can choose our eye colors of course!
Of course we need more for an eye... So, we choose Effects/Color/Color Flip to find various shades so I'm going to make them green. (Image 1-4)
Next, new layer for the iris itself, draw a circle again using the elipse select tool. Paintbucket fill black and of course can do more here.... Effects/Object/Outline Object and here we need a nice glow effect to compliment the eye color. I choose a yellow shade and basically just bring the width and softness to 100/255. (image 1-1 & 1-2)
Another new layer! Draw a small circle in white, this will be the glare for your eye. Again we utilize Effects/Object/Outline object and want a smaller amount of a glow in white to reflect the light. Say about no more then 25/255 here. (Image 1-3)
Another layer...We need to see the whites of your eyes now! I would just paintbucket fill the layer white, use the ellipse select tool to remove the center. (Image 1-4)
And now your all done.
